Winterization
Toronto Yacht Services uses nothing but the highest quality non-toxic antifreeze. Other lesser brands have destructive properties that deteriorate water system rubber, critical engine o-rings + gaskets and are dangerously flammable. Our technicians leave your vessel winterized from bow to stern with the confidence knowing your vessel’s systems and major components are fully protected!
Engine and Generator Oil Changes
Annual oil changes are an important part of fall maintenance. Oil is your engine’s life blood and has been working hard all season. Neglecting this vital step can cause irreversible damage – residual acids and moisture left in the crankcase over the extreme winter months can pit bearings and other vital engine parts. Storing your vessel away for the season with new and clean engine oil means that come spring launch your engine will be ready to go!
Winter Upgrades
The winter months are a great time to complete projects that would otherwise result in downtime during the boating season. This includes installing new equipment, upgrade existing systems or completing major repairs.
- Engine Repower and Overhauls
- Major engine/drive repairs noted during the season
- Installation of Volvo Penta Accessories including:
- DPS- Dynamic Positioning System
